1.00pm – Drive along the colourful ‘long roof’ of Chinatown and also pay a visit to Kuala Terengganu’s Central Market, or locally known as Pasar Besar Payang. Hop on a water taxi to get to the beautiful fishing village of Seberang Takir, which is adorned by brightly painted fishing boats. Drive along Bukit Puteri (Princess Hill) and visit famous tourist spots such as Waterfront, Maziah Palace and the State Mosque. Proceed along to the Crystal Mosque, which is located at the Islamic Civilisation Park on Pulau Wan Man. This park possesses a collection of 21 replicas of architectural structures which are inspired by Islamic elements. Then, travel to the fishing village of Duyung Island situated at the river mouth of Terengganu River to witness Terengganu’s world-famous traditional boat-building craft. Travellers can also enjoy a splendid view of the wooden stilt houses of Chinatown at the headland of Duyung Island.
4.00pm – Visit Batu Buruk Beach as well as the brassware factory to learn more about the process of Terengganu brassware. Then, proceed to the batik factory and the scenic Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque, which is also known as the Floating Mosque.
6.00pm – Transfer to the Sultan Mahmud Shah airport or Kuala Terengganu coach terminal for the journey back home.
